Our relationship with UPM started in 1998 when the President met UPM's VC, Tan Sri Syed Jalaludin Syed Salim, a Malaysian visionary who wanted to enrich his Institution by enlisting students of different cultures. UPM has formed the largest number of our graduates. The present VC, Datin Aiini Ideris is adopting ther same policy as Tan Sri Syed.
During a convocation, the Mauritian delegation made up of the President, Mrs Auleear, Zahir Beekun and Sameera Chattun are being greeted by HM, the King of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Al-Haj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Al-Haj.

During his visit to Malaysia, the President invites to dinner all our students in Kuala Lumpur. This occasion is used to exchange views as how to improve the conditions of our students.
